Ms. Wolfson has developed a passion for teaching young singers and is currently on the faculty of Hofstra University and William Paterson University Keenly interested in the mind body connection in singing and performing, Ms. Wolfson received her training as a certified yoga teacher (RYT) from Tias and Surya Little in Santa Fe, NM through Prajna Yoga, and consistently incorporates that knowledge into her work with her students. In the past she has taught a vocal performance class as part of the Music Performance Program at Columbia University. She has conducted masterclasses for young singers across the country at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA., North Central College in Naperville, IL (North Central College Masterclass), Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS, Philander Smith College in Little Rock, AK and The Levine School of Music in Washington, DC. She has sat on a number of juries including NATS NYC - where her student took 1st place in the College Level Category, The Mondavi Center Young Artist Competition, and The Columbia University Concerto Competition. Ms. Wolfson is a member of The National Association of Singing (NATS), as well as Sing for Hope, a non-profit organization that facilitates the connection between artists and charities providing a network of support.
